Calculating Green Area.

a = ½(3+3+2)

a = 4 units.

a is the radius of the ascribed half circle.

b²+x² = 4²

b = √(16-x²) units.

Where x is the radius of the green half circle.

c = ½(3)

c = 1.5 units.

d = 3+1.5-4

d = 0.5 units.

e²+1.5² = x²

e = √(x²-2.25) units.

Calculating x.

b² = d²+e²

16-x² = 0.25+x²-2.25

16+2 = 2x²

2x² = 18

x² = 9

x = 3 units.

Again, x is the radius of the green half circle.

Area Green Half Circle is;

½*π*x²

= ½(9π)

= 4.5π square units.
