Let BD be 1 unit.

(a/sin84) = (1/sin54)

a = 1.22929666779 units.

a is AC.

b = 180-54

b = 126°

b is angle BDC.

(BC)² = 1.22929666779²+1-2*1.22929666779cos126

BC = 1.98904379074 units.

Calculating angle B or angle ABC.

Let it be c.

(1.98904379074/sin126) = (1.22929666779/sinc)

c = 30°

It implies;

AB ÷ AD is;

Notice;

BD = 1 unit.

Calculating AD.

(1/sin54) = (AD/sin42)

AD = (sin42/sin54) units.

AB/AD is;

(1+(sin42/sin54))/(sin42/sin54)

In decimal.

AB/AD is;

(0.82709091529+1)/ 0.82709091529

= 1.82709091529/0.82709091529

= 2.20905692653

Proved.
