Calculating Green Area - Yellow Area.

5² = 3²+a²

a = √(25-9)

a = 4 units.

tanb = 3/4

b = atan(3/4)°

c = 90-b

c = atan(4/3)°

d = 180-c-45

d = (45+atan(3/4))°

d = 81.8698976458°

tand = 3/e

e = 3/tan(81.8698976458)

e = 0.42857142857 units.

e is the base of the yellow inscribed right-angled triangle.

tand = 4/f

f = 4/tan(81.8698976458)

f = 0.57142857143 units.

is the base of the green inscribed right-angled triangle.

It implies, green area - yellow area is;

(0.5*0.57142857143*4)-(0.5*0.42857142857*3)

= 1.14285714286-0.64285714286

= ½ square units.
