Radius of the green circle is 4 units, therefore area of the green circle is;

π4²

= 16π square units.

Calculating radius of the red circle.

Let the radius of the red circle be r.

(4-r)²+(5-r)²=(4+r)²

16-8r+r²+25-10r+r²=16+8r+r²

r²-26r+25=0

r²-25r-r+25=0

r(r-25)-1(r-25)=0

Therefore;

r≠25 units.

r=1 unit.

Therefore area red circle is;

π1²

= π square units.
