Area triangle with two lengths 4√(10) units and 6√(5) units, and angle 45°, the angle they form - Area triangle with height 2√(10) units and base 2√(10) units - Area triangle with height 2√(5) units and base √(5) units.
= ½(4√(10)*6√(5))sin(45) - ½(2√(10)*2√(10) - ½(2√(5)*√(5))
= 60 - 20 - 5
= 35 square units.
It implies;
Area Green ÷ Area Square is;
35 ÷ 40
= 7/8
