Radius of the inscribed circle, r is;

r = 2 cm.

Therefore;

Shaded Region is;

area sector with radius 2 cm and angle 120°- area triangle with two equal lengths 2 cm and the angle they form, 120° + Area quarter circle with radius 2 cm - 2(area sector with radius 2 cm and angle 60°) + Area equilateral triangle with sides 2 cm each.

= ⅓(*4π)-½(4sin120)+(¼*4π)-2((60π*4)/360)+(½*4sin60)

= ⅓(4π)-√(3)+π-⅓(4π)+√(3)

= π cm²

Or

Shaded Region is;

Quarter the area of the inscribed circle with radius 2 cm.

= ¼(2²π)

= ¼(4π)

= π cm²
