Let the side length of the square be x.
Calculating x.
2(one-sixth x²) = Area Orange
2(1/6)x² = 96
x² = 288
x = 12√(2) cm.
Therefore;
Area purple is;
Area triangle with height 12√(2) cm and base 6√(2) cm - Area triangle with two side 6√(2) cm and 10.5409255339 cm, and angle atan(0.5)°
= (½*12√(2)*6√(2)) - (½*6√(2)*10.5409255339sin(atan(0.5))
= 72 - 20
= 52 cm²
