Let the side length of the ascribed square be 2 units.

Area ascribed square is;

= 4 square units.

a² = 2²+1²

a = √(5) units.

tanb = 2/1

b = atan(2)°

c = 180-2b

c = (180-2atan(2))°

cos(180-2atan(2)) = d/√(5)

d = 1.3416407865 units.

Area Triangle Orange is;

0.5*1.3416407865√(5)sin(180-2atan(2))

= 1.2 square units.

= (6/5) square units.

It implies;

Fraction of the square that is orange is;

Area Orange ÷ Area Square

= (6/5)÷4

= 6/20

= 3/10
