Notice!

Area Yellow is an equilateral triangle with side 2 units.

Therefore, area yellow is;

½*2*2sin60

= √(3) square units.

Calculating red area.

It is;

2(area quarter circle with radius 2 units) - 2(Area sector with radius 2 units and angle 60° - Area triangle with height 2 units and base 2sin60 units) - Area sector with radius 2 units and angle 60°

= 2(¼*2*2π)-2((60π*2*2/360)-(½*2*2sin60))-(60π*2*2/360)

= 2π-2(⅓(2π)-√(3))-(⅓(2π))

= 2π-⅓(4π)+2√(3)-⅓(2π)

= 2π-2π+2√(3)

= 2√(3) square units.

Therefore;

Red Area ÷ Yellow Area is;

= 2√(3)÷√(3)

= 2/1

= 2
