It implies;
5² = (5-½(x))²+(5-x)²
25 = 25-5x+¼(x)²+25-10x+x²

¼(x²)-3x+5 = 0
x²-12x+20 = 0
Resolving the above quadratic equation.
x²-10x-2x+20 = 0
x(x-10)-2(x-10) = 0
(x-2)(x-10) = 0
It implies;
x ≠ 10 units.
x = 2 units.
Where x is the side length of the square.
Therefore;
Area square is;
x²
= 2²
= 4 square units.
= 4 m²
